Stephane Chatonsky is a seasoned leader with over 25 years experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, strategy and strategic advisory services.
He has held executive positions with globally recognised organisations, including Lazard, McKinsey & Co, Macquarie Bank and LeapFrog Investments.
Throughout his career, Stephane has served as a Non-Executive Director, Chair, and advisor to leading firms in the pathology, healthcare, and technology sectors.
His entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with a pragmatic leadership style, has been instrumental in steering pivotal business and capital decisions that drive growth.
Stephane is committed to education and mentoring, contributing his insights and expertise at Macquarie University and the University of New South Wales’ MBA program, as well as through The CEO Institute’s leadership programs.
His open and clear communication style fosters trusted relationships with executive teams, board members, and investors.
Currently, Stephane is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of IVEST, Board Chair of Brainmates, Non-Executive Director of Genetic Signatures (ASX: GSS), Drop Bio Health, and Neo-Bionica.
He also serves as Chair at The CEO Institute, Honorary Fellow at Macquarie University, Adjunct Professor at the University of New South Wales, and an Expert Witness to the Federal Court of Australia.
Stephane is a graduate of ESSEC (Paris) holds an MBA from Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
