Our facilities
Cerulea’s purpose built ophthalmic clinical trial suites provide outstanding facilities for clinicians and sponsors to run their trials, and a great environment for participants and their carers.
Cerulea Clinical Trials is located on Level 7, Peter Howson Wing (Blue Lifts) at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
It has been designed to create the best possible trial experience for sponsors, clinicians and participants with a modern, relaxing patient lounge areas.
It also houses:
- Eight vision lanes, including a larger lane that can be used for mobility assessments
- An imaging suite with three imaging rooms for OCT and OCT-A examinations
- Dark rooms for darkness adaptive testing
- Laser rooms for laser studies
- Blood rooms for participants who require physical examinations for blood pressure, height, weight or ECG
- Functional rooms to allow clinicians to measure limits of vision and side vision when tests do not allow the room to be dark adapted.
